Zhenfu Tower is located in Xipian Village, Hukeng Town. It was started to be built in 1913 by Su Zhentai, who became a millionaire by running a tobacco business. Like Zhencheng Tower, it is one of the masterpieces of Hakka Tulou in the early 20th century that integrated some modern Western architectural art and Chinese garden art. The couplet, "Phoenixes rise on the red mountains, dragons soar around the clear waters," accurately depicts the harmonious landscape of Zhenfu Tower and its surrounding environment, forming a picture of a mountain village. The gate of Zhenfu Building faces the rushing Nanxi River. The stream surface is wide and gentle, with large rocks lying across it. The river embankments on both banks are built high, thick and solid. Not far from the bridge, there is a deep pool of clear water and ancient banyan trees are lush and green, like umbrellas and covers. If you stand on the village road across the gate and look back at Zhenfu Tower, you can see that its roof is precisely located between the mountains on both sides of the canyon. The tower is neither too tall nor too short, neither too prominent nor too hidden, and it just serves as a "transition" between the two mountains. It can be said that the beautiful and serene landscape and rural environment centered around Zhenfu Tower is a masterpiece of the integration of heaven, earth and man.
