The Yongding Tulou is a traditional building in the Hakka settlement area of Fujian Province, China, and its history can be traced back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. These multi-storey, circular or square earthen structures are hailed as "Oriental architectural Wonders" and were inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO in 2008.
